Roland, Caldera Release Mac-Friendly PrintStudio

Roland and Caldera have partnered to launch Roland PrintStudio by Caldera, a RIP and print management software system for Mac users. Features include Adobe PDF Print Engine, ICC profiling tools, an Application Guide tool for numbering tiles and creating summary PDFs, and more. Operators have support for RAL, HKS, and Pantone color swatches, access to the Roland Color and Metallic System Libraries, and the ability to create their own ICC profiles and output templates.

PrintStudio supports entry-level color spectrophotometers and offers special color generation for white, glitter, and metallic effects. The software includes a blur and bleed function for removing white lines at cutting edges as well as a custom grommet tool.
