ROQ’s Automatic Press Humidifier

One of the biggest challenges in water-based screen printing is keeping ink from drying in the mesh. First shown at FESPA 2015 in Cologne, Germany, the ROQFog is a specially designed humidifier attachment for ROQ International automatic presses that produces a continuous mist of moist air over the screens, keeping them hydrated throughout the production run or if operators take a break.

Distributed in the US exclusively by Ryonet, the unit features adjustable spray nozzles at each printhead to distribute the right amount of moisture for the printing environment. A single storage tank with a capacity of 5.8 gal and a water-treatment system to filter out contaminants is positioned under the press. A sensor level with an alarm alerts the operator when water is low. According to Ryonet, the unit can be used on any ROQ automatic press.
