To keep your Epson 1430 inkjet printer in top condition, occasionally it needs to be cleaned. Lack of maintenance can cause clogging and other issues. You should start by running the cleaning cycle through the software first. But sometimes that is not enough.

If you’ve run the printer through several cycles and it’s still not fully cleaned, a new video released by Ryonet walks you step by step through the process of manually cleaning the Epson print head. One advantage of manually cleaning the head is you do not waste as much ink as is necessary when doing the standard cleaning.

All you need is some paper towels, ammonia-based window cleaner and some scissors and the video will show you the rest.
