“SGIA ’12 in Las Vegas was the best screen printing show in four years for Sakurai,” according to David Rose. National Sales Manager, Screen Press Systems, Sakurai USA, Inc. “There was a noticeable buzz about the screen printing process at the show and customers and visitors were intrigued with the capabilities of our new Sakurai MS-80SD. Booth traffic was strong and steady over the three-day run of SGIA and Sakurai recorded a high number of quality leads and wrote multiple orders on the show floor.”

Following its success at SGIA, and starting in just over a week, Sakurai will be hosting a 3-Day Open House on November 5-7, 2012 from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Sakurai Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois,

“The expanded 3-day event will showcase Sakurai offset and cylinder screen press automation featuring live demonstrations of offset printing, specialty printing effects and printed electronics applications,” according to Greg Friesser, General Manager, Sakurai USA.

Highlighting the Sakurai open house will be live demonstrations of an MS-80SD servo-driven cylinder screen press with optical camera registration system, as featured at SGIA running printed electronics and overlay applications; a 28” x 40” MS-102AII cylinder screen press producing spot coating and specialty effects printing and Sakurai’s new 15,000 IPH 480SD Series offset press, a
23 58 x 31” four color, ideal for short-run, fast turnaround printing.

Ryuta Sakurai, President of Sakurai Graphic Systems Japan to be on hand to welcome customers, dealers and guests, Friesser added.
