Sawgrass Selects ErgoSoft RIP for Epson Solution

Sawgrass Technologies, Mt. Pleasant, SC, announced it selected Nashua, NH-based ErgoSoft to work with Beaver Paper to create a sublimation solution for the Epson 9800 printer. The system, designed for the apparel industry, features a dual CMYK ink configuration and uses Sawgrass’ SubliJet and ArTainium sublimation inks.

ErgoSoft PosterPrint RIP reportedly is the only Sawgrass-supported RIP that allows the Epson 9800 to function as a dual CMYK printer. The companies say that combined with Beaver Paper’s high-saturation attributes, the solution features better handling and supreme output and that it is designed to utilize Sawgrass’ high-density black inks that produce maximum saturation on jersey and moisture-management materials.
