Vastex reports that it has upgraded its Dri-Vault screen-drying cabinet, model VDC 2434-8, which held eight screens, to hold 10 screens. According to Vastex, the price for the unit will not increase. The upgraded model, VDC 2434-10, holds screens measuring 24 x 34 in. (610 x 864 mm). It features filtered intake and a breaker switch, centrifugal-type blower, and stainless-steel-finned heater. The unit’s shelves are angled to ease screen insertion and removal and prevent the screen’s stencil image from touching a shelf. The new 10-screen unit comes with a three-year, limited warranty. Available options include stainless-steel shelves, locking casters, and 240 VAC/50 Hz. Vastex, 1032 N.
