The unit has a 1000-W, metal-halide, dual-spectrum light source. Workhorse says the shuttered lamp system offers fast exposure times because there is no warm-up period and that lamp life is also preserved because of fewer lamp strikes. The dual-spectrum lamp is designed to process diazo and photopolymer-sensitized emulsions. Photosharp features an integrated digital time control with auto shut-off and auto-repeat.
