Screen (USA) Celebrates 40 Years

This year marks the 40th anniversary for Screen (USA). The company began as the first overseas subsidiary of Dainippon Screen Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Kyoto, Japan. The parent company was incorporated in 1943 and was considered a pioneer in wooden process cameras, arc lamps, and vacuum printing frames. Screen offers prepress solutions for US commercial printers, including workflow-management systems, thermal platesetters, imagesetters, digital printing solutions, flatbed scanners, hybrid AM/FM screening technology, color-proofing applications, and digital-asset-management software.
