Sefar Announces Sefar PME

Sefar is excited to announce its high quality screen printing mesh line, SEFAR® PME, designed specifically with the top-end graphics screen printer in mind. Sefar has already experienced continued success with this mesh in the electronics market, but now offers SEFAR® PME in large width rolls to help graphics printers overcome the challenges faced with printing precision graphics on large format screens. SEFAR® PME mesh is woven with a new high tensile strength low elongating yarn, allowing for smaller threads to be used on larger screens without sacrificing strength.

This provides the printer with more open area and better ink flow, leading to a less moiré and a noticeable difference in overall print quality.

Sefar continues to provide a cost effective solution ideal for the textile market with the SEFAR GreenScreen® product line. The SEFAR Greenscreen® line offers a quick and easy way to stretching ready-to-print screens for both small and large scale printing shops without the hassle of gluing and reclaiming. The SEFAR TraxScreen™ applies a simple design, in which plastic strips sewn on the edges of a mesh panel lock into place on a specially designed frame. The screen can be stretched to industry standard tension levels in less than a minute with no operator experience required; simply snap and go! Frames can be re-used again and again by popping out a mesh panel and inserting a new one. There is no need to waste the time and money associated with the unnecessary shipping of frames when using the eco-friendly SEFAR TraxScreen™.

The SEFAR RollerScreen™ is an alternative mesh panel specifically designed for roller frames. These pre-cut panels already have plastic strips sewn on the edges for fast and consistent roller frame stretching. This eliminates all of the wasted time and money associated with manually inserting plastic strips over a cut piece of mesh laid out on a frame. Combined with the SEFAR ACME Stretcher™, stretching roller frames could not get any easier. This manual stretching machine achieves perfectly consistent tensioned panels without the use of laborious wrench techniques or expensive pneumatic units.

Both SEFAR TraxScreen™ and SEFAR RollerScreen™ panels do not use or require the use of any glue or adhesives, providing excellent resistance to chemical solvents. They are economically folded and shipped in a small box containing six folded panels, ready to use out of the box.
