The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorated Products (SGCDpro) announced that Robert S. Adler, commissioner, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), will speak at Deco ’13 in Louisville, KY. The Society’s annual conference and exposition will be held April 13-15, 2013.
The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorated Products (SGCDpro) announced that Robert S. Adler, commissioner, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), will speak at Deco ’13 in Louisville, KY. The Society’s annual conference and exposition will be held April 13-15, 2013.
Adler is slated to speak on April 14 as part of the “Ask the Experts” legislative and regulatory session. Adler was appointed to the CPSC agency by President Barack Obama in August of 2009. His term runs through October of 2014. Prior to his appointment, he served on the Obama Transition Team and co-authored a report on the CPSC for the Obama administration. Before assuming office, Adler served as a professor of legal studies at the University of North Carolina as the Luther Hodges Jr., Scholar in Ethics and Law at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
