SGIA members can now apply for the 2016 SGIA Safety Recognition Program, a participation plan created to make both employers and employees aware of the necessity of maintaining a safe working environment.

“Participation in this program is key to running a successful operation,” said Marci Kinter, SGIA’s Vice President of Government and Business Information. “Completing the program proves to insurers and clients alike that you are running a safe and trustworthy operation.”

Designed as a bimonthly checklist, SGIA members can utilize the program to quickly and easily evaluate their shop and identify potential problems. The Safety Recognition Program was specifically designed to help you stay on top of your safety efforts and is free to all SGIA members.

The program is active on a calendar year basis beginning January 1 through December 31. Companies who have completed and submitted each bimonthly checklist, through their own self-inspection and verification, will receive the 2016 SGIA Safety Recognition Award.

The deadline for enrollment in this year’s program is January 31 — just three weeks away! Enroll now to become an active part of your safety program.
