SGIA Opens Annual Student Printing Competition

SGIA has announced that the annual ASDPT Tom Frecska Student Printing Competition is now accepting entries. Named for the late editor of Screen Printing magazine, the competition “challenges students to print their best work,” says Erin Nuss, SGIA’s associate manager of education, in a release.

Entries should be submitted by SGIA Educator Members on behalf of their students by June 30. Categories span secondary and post-secondary divisions as well as a variety of print technologies. Submissions are judged by members of the Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technologies and will be displayed in the Golden Image Gallery at the 2016 SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, September 14-16.
