Skin- and Printer-Friendly Adhesive

MACtac says its Ultra-Low Adhesive (ULA) answers the demand for a skin-friendly adhesive coated on a printer-friendly substrate. ULA is a hypoallergenic, medical-grade, pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for applications involving skin contact, such as face stickers, masks, or other forms of body art. The adhesive is repositionable and reportedly offers excellent adhesion to the skin, a cooling sensation upon contact, and pain-free removal. ULA is available in single- or double-coated foam, film, and non-woven constructions and is designed to resist peel build and maintain the same amount of peel adhesion after 30 min or 24 hr. MACtac says ULA features excellent stability, diecutting, and print properties and notes that the adhesive can conform to film and paper constructions. MACtac says it will test both processes to ensure the proper solution is found. MACtac, 4560 Darrow Rd., Stow, OH  44224, 330-688-1111, fax: 330-688-2540, Web: www.mactac.com.
