Kornit says it has answered growing demands for digitally decorating dark polyester apparel by integrating a new feature for that process into the software that drives its 931DS and 932NDS garment inkjet printers. According to Kornit, the software manages specific printing sequences, allowing easy and quick printing onto dark polyester in one click with Kornit's existing ink technology and automatic wetting-solution process. Kornit’s wetting solution is applied automatically to garments prior to printing to create a sealed surface designed to accept Kornit's proprietary textile ink and separate the white ink layer applied by the printer and the garment's dye that can migrate during curing.
