SP Group, part of the St. Ives PLC group of companies, announced it will serve as the beta-test site for the new Inca Onset large-format flatbed UV inkjet printer. The printer, supplied by Inca distributor Fujifilm Sericol, will be installed at the company’s facility in Redditch, UK, followed by intensive testing over a six-month period. The Inca Onset builds on the technology of the Columbia Turbo and Spyder presses, offering variable gloss levels, an enlarged color gamut, built-in automated feeing and stacking, 576 Spectra printheads, and speeds up to 500 sq m/hr (or 100+ full-bed sheets).
