Special-Effect Ink

International Coatings expanded its family of inks with the addition of 3810 BlowOut Base, which upon curing blisters and bubbles up to form a spongy, textured surface. BlowOut Base can be used as a stand-alone product or in combination with other inks (including other special-effect inks) to produce various looks. Longer or repeated exposure to heat will increase the height and texture of the ink surface. The ink also can be tinted with the company’s 7400 Series Color Concentrates or can be printed on top or underneath other plastisol inks.
