Summa Updates F Series Cutters

Said to speed up finishing and increase performance.

Summa has revealed updates for its F Series of flatbed digital cutters. New features include F-Performance mode, said to offer a performance increase up to 40% through faster movements of the cutting head; a burr-free knife for the Double Edge Cutout Tool, designed to avoid raised edges and minimize burrs when cutting paper, film, and polypropylene; an HT Rotary Module with a higher torque than the standard module for cutting porous material, as well as banner trimming close to edges; and the Pneumatic Oscillating Tool – Long, engineered for the automotive, packaging, and insulation industries with a longer than standard knife for cutting materials 0.79 to 1.65 in. thick.
