SwissQprint Introduces UV LED Flatbed

Engineered to image aluminum, wood, foam board, and more.

SwissQprint’s Oryx LED flatbed printer offers up to nine ink channels and a roll media option. The 98.4 x 78.7-in. machine reaches print speeds of 700 sq ft/hr and includes an oversized board option for applications up to 157.5 in. long. The Oryx is designed for printing onto acrylic, aluminum, wood, tarpaulins, glass, polyester, polycarbonate, polystyrene, PVC, vinyl, foam board, and more. All inks are VOC-free; ink choices include CMYK, white, varnish, primer for printing on glass, orange, violet, and green. The Oryx has a max. resolution of 2160 dpi and droplet size ranges from 9 to 42 pL.

SwissQprint reports the modular machine is built to customer requirements, and its UV LED lamps require no warmup or cooldown time. Additional features include Step and Repeat and Shadow printing modes, Crash Sensor Technology, and optional robotic loading and unloading automation.
