SwissQprint is now offering a 4×4 version of its Nyala 2 and Impala 2 flatbed UV inkjet printers. The 4×4 models feature four CMYK printheads that can be supplemented with an optional white or varnish channel that allows for background or multilayer white as well as tactile effects.
SwissQprint reports the Nyala 2 4×4 version prints in “quality mode” at up to 1076 sq ft/hr or 614 sq ft/hr for applications in “fine art mode,” such as backlit graphics.

Both printers offer a roll-to-roll option or a board option for handling media up to 157.5 in. long. Both are also compatible with the company’s Rob, a robotic loading and unloading device.
