Printing Industries of America invites printers, prepress, and postpress companies of all kinds to submit top-quality entries to the 2016 Premier Print Awards Competition. This prestigious international competition honors the top printers in the industry for their stellar printing capabilities.

With more than 100 categories recognizing every segment of the printing industry, the competition features categories for binders, magazines, posters, packaging and labels, innovation, green printing, digital printing, and more. This year, the Premier Print Awards competition also updated five of their categories to highlight the postpress industry.

The Premier Print Awards also features several sub-categories based on company size or printing process. The sub-categories based on company size are to ensure like-size companies compete with each other. Printers may also enter one piece into multiple categories or several pieces into one category. For a full listing of all categories, visit www.printing.org/ppacategories. Spanish translations are available here.

Students and student groups are also encouraged to enter. The competition is open to any students in high school, vocational school, or college who are involved in the creation or production of print communications.

All entrants of the Premier Print Awards are competing to be awarded the Best of Category, or “Benny” Award, for their flawless craftsmanship. For more than sixty years, the Benny has become a universally recognized symbol for excellence in the printing industry. Entries can also receive an Award of Recognition or a Certificate of Merit. Those who receive one or more of these honors benefit from wide-spread industry recognition.

For more information about the Premier Print Awards, visit www.printing.org/ppa or download the 2016 Premier Print Awards Call for Entries Brochure. To enter this year’s competition and to find detailed entry information, visit awards.printing.org.

Winners from this year’s Premier Print Awards Competition will be honored at the Premier Print Awards Gala Featuring the InterTech™ Technology Awards, September 25, 2016, in Orlando, FL in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO 16.
