Lawson has announced the LED-5000 exposure unit, featuring up to 40 programmable settings for various mesh counts, emulsions, coating techniques, or other parameters. The LED, color touch-screen control center enables customized vacuum delays, inspection lights, adjustable exposure times, and on-the-fly exposure settings. The machine is said to expose most liquid emulsion and capillary film screens in under 45 sec. while eliminating undercutting, according to the company. The UV LED exposure unit is offered in standard sizes of 24 x 31, 32 x 48, and 42 x 50 in., with custom sizes available.
