Oracal’s 8500F translucent film is designed for long-term use on internally illuminated or backlit signage. The 3-mil translucent film features a clear, permanent, solvent-based adhesive and a 3.75-mil, clear, polyester liner for handling and registration. The film also is thermal-transfer compatible and features a silk-matte finish designed to inhibit undesired reflection and provide optimum day/night color consistency. Oracal’s 8500F is suitable for large wet or dry applications of backlit signs on rigid, thermoformed, or flexible substrates and offers seven years of durability. It is available in 30- and 150-ft (9.0- and 45.8-m) rolls with a width of 48 in. (1219 mm).
