The company reports its LUS-150 ink for thermoforming applications will be available for this series in the future.

A fully enclosed print area is designed to reduce dust and other airborne particles. The series is also equipped with laser sensor media detection and automated gap check. The flatbeds accommodate jigs created for previous models, eliminating the need to create new ones.

Additional features include Mimaki’s proprietary Advanced Pass System 4, Waveform Control, Circulation Technology, and Check Unit and Recovery System. Both models are networkable with Gigabit Ethernet for multiple printer connections, and each features an automated hot folder-based workflow. Mimaki’s RasterLink 6 RIP software is optional.
