Universal Flatbed and Roll-to-Roll UV Printer

Grapo Technologies released a new system into the world of large-format printing. The Shark is a universal flatbed and roll-to-roll UV printer featuring Xaar 760 printheads to produce what the company calls high-quality images for a wide variety of display applications. The four-color Shark was designed and built entirely in Europe and features a maximum print width of 79 in. (2010 mm) with an unlimited print length. Production speeds range from 861-2368 sq ft/hr (80-220 sq m/hr) for outdoor displays. The Shark uses UV inks manufactured by SunJet and joins the Octopus II and Manta printers in the Grapo product line to provide users with a choice of formats and speeds to accommodate volume and application requirements.
