UV Ink and Primer for Mimaki Inkjet Printers

Mimaki’s newest formulations for its wide-format inkjet printers include a UV ink and primer. The company says it formulated its F-200 ink for flexibility and reports that the cured ink can be stretched by up to 200% and be used for embossing processes, such as membrane switches, as well as film-insert-molded components, such as panel switches for electronic appliances. The UV primer, engineered for standard Mimaki UV ink, also works as an ink-adhesion promoter and can extend print durability on substrates such as metal and glass.
