Polymeric Imaging recently introduced BioPrint, a UV screen-printing ink that the company calls a high-performance, fast-curing, bio-based product specifically formulated with the environment in mind. BioPrint includes organic, bio-genic, sustainable, degradable, and biodegradable components, and it’s engineered for adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, high opacity for color trapping, a non-blocking and high-slip finish for easy handling, resistance to water and abrasion, and flexibility for multi-layer applications and diecutting. The inks, which are N-VP and heavy-metal free, are compatible with Polymeric’s CMS color-matching system.
