Nazdar describes its PowerPrint Banner 1900 UV ink as a formulation specifically developed to meet the requirements of the latest high-speed, multicolor, large-format presses. PowerPrint 1900 is a multipurpose, UV-curable screen-printing ink that offers up to two years of outdoor durability. It’s suitable for use on flexible substrates for indoor and outdoor P-O-P applications, including vinyl, treated polyethylene, most static cling, and pressure-sensitives. The ink reportedly offers fast cure speeds, high block resistance, and low odor. Nazdar says the ink cures with a tough, resilient finish. PowerPrint 1900 inks are available in Nazdar’s standard colors, Pantone Matching System Base colors, and halftones for four-color-process printing. The inks are one-part, 100%-solid inks that are press ready from the container and do not contain N-vinyl 1-2-pyrolidone (V-Pyrol).
