A.W.T. World Trade Inc. bills its Kleen-View Washout Sink as an environmentally friendly solution for washing out and inspecting screen frames. The company says the sink features an extra-deep trough with a corrugated fiberglass back panel to reduce backsplash from high-pressure washout of ink residue. The Kleen-View comes in a standard tabletop model that accepts a maximum frame size of 26 x 26 in. (660 x 660 mm), and floor models with sink and stand combinations for frame sizes up to 99 x 222 in. (2515 x 5639 mm). Floor models are equipped with an exhaust outlet to facilitate proper venting of fumes, and an optional storage shelf is available to keep the floor clear of obstacles. The Kleen-View’s fiberglass back panel works with either natural or artificial light to help reveal pinholes, unexposed emulsion, and ink residue. A.W.T also offers an optional backlight assembly to provide consistent light in shop conditions where natural light is unavailable or limited. Another option is the Duro-Tank, a closed-loop recirculation system designed to further simplify screen cleaning. A.W.T. says Duro-Tank recirculates biodegradable chemistry while safely capturing ink and residue for proper disposal. Duro-Tanks are available with a 20-, 40-, or 80-gal reservoir and are air operated. A.W.T. World Trade Inc., 4321 N. Knox Ave., Chicago, IL 60641, 773-777-7100, Web: www.awt-gpi.com.
