Wide-Format Flatbed UV Inkjet Printer

Gerber says its new Solara ionV was designed to offer most of the benefits of the Solara ionX in a significantly more affordable package. It features GerberCAT cationic UV inks and Gerber’s Cold Fire Cure process, a low-energy and low-temperature system that enables the use of heat-sensitive plastic, vinyl, fabric, and paper-based materials. It can image onto rigid and flexible media. The printer’s vacuum table can accommodate rigid substrates up to 100 x 64 in. (2.5 x 1.6 m) and 1 in. (25.4 mm) thick. Solara ionV uses a single CMYK four-head set and does not include a roll-to-roll printing system.
