Wide-Format Hybrid UV Inkjet Printer

Matan Digital Printers recently unveiled the 16.4-ft-wde (5-m) version of its Barak wide-format UV inkjet printer. Barak5 can print at speeds of more than 3230 sq ft/hr (300 sq m/hr), and it supports imaging resolutions up to 600 dpi. It accepts a variety of roll-fed media, and the optional Multi-Roll configuration supports up to three rolls of media at widths of 63 in. (1600 mm). Flatbed mode accommodates media up to 1 in. (25.4 mm) thick. Barak5 uses Matan’s Barak UV inks, which are formulated for flexibility. Caldera RIP drives the printer.
