Wide-Format Inkjet Printers

Epson’s updated fleet of Sytuls Pro proofers features new printhead technology, inks, and size formats. Stylus Pro models 4880, 7880, 9880, and 11880 can print on roll-fed or sheet media from 17-64 in. wide. Their printheads feature a built-in sensor that automatically aligns the heads and detects when the heads are getting dirty. The heads are also treated with an ink-repelling coating to reduce clogging. The Stylus Pro printers use Epson’s UltraChrome K3 ink system with new Vivid Magenta and Vivid Light Magenta inks, which are formulated to create a wide color gamut, enhance proofing consistency, and extend proofing capabilities to packaging and label applications.
