Imagine being able to print full-color digital images without the need for ink cartridges or ribbons. Sound unlikely? Now it is entirely possible with a new inkless-printing technology developed by Waltham, MA-based ZINK Imaging, LLC.
The key behind this unique technology is ZINK paper. Dye crystals are embedded in the ZINK paper and activated by heat from a ZINK printer. ZINK Imaging’s partners plan to launch the first products using ZINK technology later this year.
