Adhesive for Lamination of Foams and Films

ADM Tronics designed its AB2 adhesive for lamination of foams and films. The adhesive is formulated to maintain the integrity of its bonds even after prolonged submersion in water. ADM Tronics says the adhesive bonds off-machine, but notes that full water resistance is developed through a self-curing period of 24 hours. AB2 also can be used as a contact-bond adhesive by application to both sides of a substrate to be laminated, then drying until clear and direct mounting. AB2 can be processed on conventional equipment with standard coating techniques. It also can be applied by brush or other direct application.
