Digital Computer-to-Print Systems

The XD 400 Series from Pad Print Machinery of Vermont is a line digital computer-to-print systems that use drop-on-demand inkjet technology and UV inks to print on flat and semi-flat surfaces. XD-400 supports a 15.7-sq-in. (400-sq-mm) print area for large-format and multiple-parts imaging, accommodates parts up to 7 in. (178 mm) thick, offers 600-dpi resolution, and can print up to 250 sq ft/hr (23 sq m/hr). Users can select single and bi-directional print modes. All axes are servo driven, and inks are available in clear, white, spot colors, and process colors. User interface is PC controlled. Options include multiple print arrays, internal UV-curing lamp, parts-handling automation, and vacuum parts/tooling hold down.
