Association for Print Technologies and American Red Cross Partner for Print19

The Association for Print Technologies (APTech) and the American Red Cross are partnering to host a blood drive at PRINT®19, the print industry’s longest running and most comprehensive event (October 3-5, McCormick Place North, Chicago). The blood drive is slated for Friday, October 4 in booth 2843.

“For the past few years we’ve incorporated philanthropy into our PRINT event,” said Thayer Long, president, APTech “and this year we couldn’t be more pleased to partner with the American Red Cross. In fact, our blood drive might truly test the proposition that print people actually bleed CMYK”.

The American Red Cross has more than 130 years of experience providing humanitarian aid, including more than 70 years of supplying blood to those in need. Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives and impact the health and wellbeing of countless others.

“What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country,” said Long. “We are very excited about the drive and I know our exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees will be lining up to help out our fellow citizens.”

Produced by the Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech), the industry’s signature event will feature an array of printing equipment and technology and 80+ educational sessions including hands-on labs, creating the nexus of critical business-building and networking that drives revenue growth across the industry’s entire $80 billion value chain.
