BrownDigital, a division of Brown Manufacturing Group, Inc., develops a new curing system. Innovation and the application of new technology are the keys to the FireFly. The technology that drives these systems will decrease floor space, decrease production costs and increase production speed.

Through the application of thermal imaging technology, FireFly units use quarts heat to hold each individual garment at the required temperature. The use of this software and the ability to have multiple belts running with separate heat lanes gives the FireFly unprecedented control and accuracy for garment curing.

The FireFly software features 36 stored running programs, job costing information, independent lane control, and an array of other shop tools. All these features are at your operator’s fingertips or available through an Internet connection to any PC or smartphone. The display also includes a thermal imprint-monitoring screen to track each garment as it moves through the system.

Additionally, the Linx Control System Integration is an option that puts all the defined programs onto barcode information. These bar codes can be printed on the provided output devise or are displayed on the 32” video monitor that mounts to the load end of the system.

Additional air control features include variable speed exhaust, upper and lower convection, and cooling fans at exit. All of this air control is defined by each lane and is programmed into each profile. These air speeds change with each garment.

The heavy-duty drive train features automatic belt speed calculations for each program profile. Each lane can be lengthened for individual feed or exit length. Belt speeds can be adjusted from 1 second to 99.99 minutes in the chamber. The multi-belt design provides the ultimate of customization in a shop floor layout.
