SGIA Looks Ahead to 2015 Graphic Workshops

SGIA has released the 2015 Graphic Workshop schedule, which includes two new training classes.

SGIA has released the 2015 Graphic Workshop schedule, which includes two new training classes.

Held at SGIA’s facility in Fairfax, Virginia, these educational events teach techniques, applications, and business solutions for most skill levels. Workshops will include:

Wrap Like a Pro (March 11-12)
A new workshop where participants will get hands-on experience installing on a variety of surfaces and learn how to pass the PDAA Master Certification test.

Color Management Boot Camp (April 21-23; August 25-27)
Concentrating specifically on large-format inkjet, attendees will learn color management concepts, print standards, and device calibration.

Operation Sublimation, Mission: Wide-Format Graphics (June 3-4)
Participants of all skill levels will learn more about the industry’s biggest trends for banners, soft signage, and interior applications in this new workshop.

Screen Making: Basic to Advanced (May 11-15; December 14-18)
Beginning with the most basic methods and progressing to the newest technology, attendees study the how and why of making screens.
