Gerber says the version 2.5.1 of its Omega design and output software allows users to create sophisticated, technical, and advanced layouts while maintaining simple, consistent operations. New functions include image flip and rotate in Composer, which eliminates the need to switch to a third-party program; the ability in Decal Cut to set a white-point threshold in images; and thmbnail compression for smaller file sizes. Improvements to menus, context menus, and layers, in addition to updated Spell Check and updated GerberColor Spectratone Palette, are among the other enhacements Gerber made to Omega.
