Douthitt’s Nova exposure unit is designed to expose CTS screens. The system is equipped with an Olec Olite AL53 Tri Level 5000-w metal-halide printing lamp that reportedly delivers high resolution, high quality, and short exposure time. The Nova also features Douthitt’s 10-channel Magic 83 combination light integrator and digital timer with photocell and an external exhaust fan for cooling and ventilation. Options include an AL83 Tri Level 8000-w metal-halide printing lamp. The Nova is available in models to support screen sizes of 23 x 31 and 25 x 36 in. (584 x 787 and 635 x 914 mm).
