Oracal added two lines to its stable of reflective films. The company designed Series 5600 Fleet Engineering Grade films for application over curved surfaces, rivets, and corrugations. The 5-mil film features a solvent-based adhesive and a 84-lb PE-coated liner. It complies with ASTM D 4956 and other international standards for retroreflectivity. Series 5600 is available in 14 colors and is compatible with solvent-, eco-solvent-, and UV inkjet printers. Oralite Series 5300 Economy Grade Reflective is a three-year, 4-mil film. It’s available in six colors and intended for short- to medium-term outdoor use. Series 5300 features a permanent, solvent-based adhesive, an 84-lb PE-coated paper liner, and a surface designed for compatibility with thermal inkjet printers and resistance to scratches and impact. Series 5600 and 5300 films are available in roll lengths of 10 and 50 yd (9 and 46 m) and standard widths of 15 in. (punched), 24 in., 30 in. (punched), and 48 in. (381, 610, 762, 1219 mm).
