Golf Tournament to Tee Off for Charity

If you’re planning on attending the Atlanta Imprinted Sportswear Show next month, bring along your golf clubs and participate in a charity golf tournament sponsored by Variety, The Children’s Charity, Decorated Products Div., the official charity of the decorated-apparel industry. The tournament will take place on Sept. 13, one day before the opening of the ISS show, which is scheduled for Sept. 14-16. Money raised from the tournament will be given to organizations that assist youth who are challenged by poverty, violence, neglect, and physical disabilities.
The four-person scramble will be held at the Towne Lake Hills Golf Club in Woodstock, GA. The tournament opens with a putting contest at 11:30 am, followed by the shotgun tee-off at 1 pm. The entry fee includes refreshments and a buffet dinner following the event.

The tournament is co-chaired by Bill Fenimore, president of The Embroidery Store and Brian Pagel, ISS show director. Space is limited to 144 golfers. For more information or to register, visit www.issshows.com and choose the Atlanta ISS show link, or contact Niki Roosma at 865-588-0060, e-mail: 4var@comcast.net, Web: www.varietytextile.org. If you can’t attend the tournament but would like to make a donation, send a check to Decorated Products Variety, 5121 Buckhead Trail, Knoxville, TN 37919. Credit cards also are accepted.
