The latest heat press from Stahls’ Hotronix is designed to apply labels or patches to shirts. The STX6 LowRider has a magnetic-assisted lockdown with automatic release. The platen automatically pops up when dwell time elapses. Three platen shapes available as options. The press has digital time and temperature controls, as well as live digital pressure display. The Twin Timer allows the press to be used for two-step applications, and it has a 999-second dwell time. The lower platen is 3 in. (76.2 mm) from the work space. Heating platens are 0.75 in. (19 mm) thick and Teflon coated. Hotronix says over-the-center pressure adjustment ensures that the press can be adjusted for any thickness of garment. The STX6 LowRider is UL, ULC/CE, and RoHS compliant. Stahls' Hotronix, 1 Paisley Park, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 800-727-8520, Web: www.hotronix.com.
