Light-Management System for Lamination Films

GBC’s Octiva Lo-Melt thermal laminating films now feature the PreLume light-management system, which is designed to enhance the appearance of laminated graphic displays. GBC says that PreLume controls the amount and distribution of ambient light that is reflected back to the viewer throughout the visible color spectrum, yielding whiter whites without altering other colors. PreLume reportedly offsets the natural yellow or gray tint found in substrates used for laminating films, eliminating the need to change printer settings or color correct for color shift. The films are engineered for scratch resistance, durability, strength, and graphic depth and are designed for low activation temperatures. GBC, 712 W.
