MACtac Accepting Entries for Awards Program

Stow, OH-based MACtac is now accepting entries for its MACtac Worldwide Awards—2008. The biennial program highlights high-impact visual-communication projects produced with MACtac pressure-sensitive materials. The company says the contest also provides a unique source of information about trends in visual communication and promotes pressure-sensitive films for the benefit of the entire industry.

“The first two editions of the program were extremely successful—we received approximately 900 entries in 2004 and 1100 entries in 2006,” says Rick Moore, marketing director, MACtac Graphics Products. “It’s a great opportunity for companies in, or related to, the sign industry to showcase their talent and creativity.”

MACtac Worldwide Awards—2008 is open to projects produces during 2006 or 2007 using any MACtac Performance Graphics. Entries may be submitted by signmakers, converters, applicators, digital printers, ad agencies, studios, and end users. The program is divided into three divisions, segmented by geographic region: North America, Europe, and International. Each division is assigned an independent panel of industry experts to judge entries in four categories: Vehicle Graphics, Exterior Signs, Interior Signs, and Technical Achievement. Closing date for entries is Jan. 31, 2008. For more information, or to register, visit www.mactac.com/nc_awards2008 or call 866-622-8223.
