Mimaki Offers Direct-to-Textile Printer

Mimaki has introduced the TX300P-1800 roll-to-roll printer. The direct-to-textile machine measures 75 in. wide and is compatible with five different types of textile inks for imaging on a variety of synthetic and natural fabrics. Applications include samples, one-offs, custom fashion, runway designs, and quick-response orders.

Mimaki has introduced the TX300P-1800 roll-to-roll printer. The direct-to-textile machine measures 75 in. wide and is compatible with five different types of textile inks for imaging on a variety of synthetic and natural fabrics. Applications include samples, one-offs, custom fashion, runway designs, and quick-response orders.

The printer features a high-gap printhead engineered for compatibility with even heavy and woven fabrics. Users can choose dye-sublimation, disperse dye, textile pigment, reactive dye, and acid dye inks in packs up to 2 L. A textile feeding mechanism leverages front and rear tension bars for stable transportation. Max. print speed is 732 sq ft/hr in 4-color mode; 398 sq ft/hr with 6 colors.

Additional features include Mimaki’s proprietary waveform control, Advanced Pass System 4, Nozzle Check Unit and Recovery System; variable droplet printing with three sizes; and a bulk-ink system that replaces empty ink cartridges when in 4-color mode.
