Workhorse Products has added the Powerhouse 2608 quartz conveyor dryer, featuring a 26-in. belt and medium-wave IR elements for faster heating. The Powerhouse also includes Flash Phase, a feature that raises garment and ink temperatures quickly in the first heat zone; the remaining heat zone is controlled by a digital temperature controller.

The dryer’s design also features turbo air knives that turn IR heat into gentle convection for curing bulky items such as fleece and jackets. In addition, heated air recovery draws preheated air from beneath the belt and returns it to the oven for more efficient energy usage.

Additional features include adjustable oven doors to help retain the oven’s temperature; a removable oven hood for easier cleaning; four-point belt tracking; and optional add-on in and out feeds for garment loading and unloading.

The company reports the Powerhouse can dry 200 to 300 garments/hr. The oven length measures 48 in.
