Steve Kahane, president of International Coatings Company, was recently named the new chairman of NASMA, the North American Specialty Printing Manufacturers’ Association. He succeeds Parnell Thill, vice president of marketing at Ikonics, whose three-year term as NASMA chairman expires at the end of December, 2009.

“I am honored to serve as the next Chairman of NASMA,” Kahane says. “The goal of the organization has always been to serve the needs of the manufacturers in the specialist printing arena, and I am excited to have the opportunity to take part in shaping the role of the organization and positioning it for the future.”

NASMA is an executive forum that’s composed of manufacturing companies in North America that supply the screen-printing, digital-printing, and related specialty-graphics markets. Kahane has most recently served as deputy chairman and on the executive committee for the organization.
