Repositionable Mounting Adhesive

Drytac says anyone can apply prints to glass surfaces by hand—and do so without the need for wetting solutions—thanks to WindowTac, the company’s new repositionable mounting adhesive. The adhesive is available in 164-ft (15-m) rolls in widths of 41 and 51 in. (1041 and 1295 mm). It features a textured release liner that creates micro-channels in the adhesive underneath. According to Drytac, these grooves minimize the contact area between the adhesive and the glass surface, allowing the graphic to be accurately positioned and air bubbles removed without creating a permanent bond.
