Low odor and low VOC content characterize MacDermid Autotype’s new CPS Aquawash LS. The screen wash complies with the VOC restrictions of Southern California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District. It can clean UV-curable, solvent-based, and other inks from screens before reclamation and can be used in place of existing ink solubilizers in automated screen-cleaning systems. Aquawash LS is a concentrated formula that is mixed with equal parts of water, evaporates slowly, and remains active on screens for extended periods of time.
