SGIA Brings New Innovation to SOURCING at MAGIC

SGIA returned to SGIA returned to SOURCING at MAGIC (Las Vegas, February 16–19) with the SGIA Innovation Zone, an exclusive area showcasing the Association as the go-to source for complete and unbiased information. The Zone also puts the SGIA community of printers listed on www.PrintProviders.org in front of thousands of buyers in the apparel brands market.

In addition to screen printing, direct-to-garment inkjet and dye sublimation technology, this year’s Zone featured a digital cut-and-sew workflow display. “This was the first time cut-and-sew was in our Zone,” said Johnny Shell, SGIA’s Vice President of Technical Service. “It really reflects the current state-of-the-art digital technology that is being used as cut-and-sew is moving back onshore. It is a growing and important trend.”

SOURCING at MAGIC provides an accurate look at where the fashion industry is heading and connects designers, retailers and manufacturers with the necessary tools to further their business — and the SGIA Innovation Zone pointed them directly to the SGIA community of printers.
